Nhan Lap Tran arrested Monday, Feb. 11, on suspicion of murder and assault with a firearm, after he allegedly engaged in random shooting in Oakdale, MN, that left a 9 year old boy dead, and his mother and another woman wounded. Washington County jail records show Nhan Lap Tran, 34, was arrested at 486 Hale Avenue N. He shot at least four cars near Rainbow Foods at 7053 10th St. N. shortly after 6 p.m. Monday, as he reportedly calmly walked through the neighborhood. The child was a student at Oakdale Elementary School.
